Moving to Michigan

For those of you who have not heard (and have been wondering why my blog has been lacking lately), my husband and I will be leaving our home in Tennessee. The project that my husband is managing for a commercial construction company is quickly coming to a close. Thankfully, this does not mean that my husband is out of a job, but rather, we will be moving back to Michigan the end of the month.

Our Tennessee home... I will miss it!!!

Of course I have mixed feelings about this new transition because Tennessee has become a home to us, but I am so thankful that God does not leave the decision making to us!!! If I were in control, this world would be a complete mess. I am just thankful that by walking day by day seeking His will, He will guide us through life.

So, as of right now... our lives are in a complete state of "orderly" disorder as I begin to pack up our belongings. I am trying to be organized with my packing, but I know the closer our move date gets, things are going to just get shoved into boxes. Maybe if I am proactive right now, I can avoid a mess later?!? We'll see!!!

It is amazing everything on my "to-do" list...

And this is my "condensed" list! Unfortunately, a lot of this stuff needs to be done a day or two before we move out so that it does not get dirty again. It will be a fun two days of cleaning! haha....

And while trying to do all this, we are looking to buy a house! It is a little difficult looking for a home when you are living 600 miles away, but we are praying that the Lord will bless us with the house that is just right for our growing family! :)

This is all a part of the adventure, and I am just along for the ride!
